Bells Power Services was asked to assist a client with the upgrade and remedial works required at the Olympic Park. We surveyed the required works and delivered to a tight deadline. The project included two existing and two newly installed generators. The existing generators were in need of renovation and BMS wiring modifications. The two new generators had been partly installed by another company, but required works to complete the install to the consultant standards.

Whilst the original works were undertaken, we were asked to carry out a full load test of the machines and found one to be defective, which resulted in the need for major mechanical engine works. The client was notified and a team of engineers was deployed onsite the following day along with the delivery of parts needed to complete the job. The project was delivered on time and professionally, and our quick response resulted in minimum disruption to the planned schedule.

At the completion of the project, a full set of O&M manuals was provided to the client and full onsite training was given to their maintenance teams.
